Graphic Design

I completed a basic graphic design course during the fall of 2013. I learned how to use Adobe Creative Suite programs Illustrator, Photoshop and my favorite, InDesign. For many projects I used all three to create the final product. Here is a link to the portfolio of all the works I created for this class: Graphic Design Portfolio.

Once I had graphic design skills under my belt I was able to use them outside of the class room. One example is this golf sign I created for a tournament hosted by the Division of Agriculture at Oklahoma State University, for whom I was the lead student worker.

In the Strategic Communications degree program at Oklahoma State we take graphic design midway through our college career, then take classes after that where we use those skills for assignments. I created this magazine AD- AsparFlakes in lab for persuasive writing and this Klein Kosmetics print ad as part of a large advertising assignment for the same class. Most recently, I took Advanced PR Writing and created this Oklahoma Arthritis Society Flier and many more graphic design pieces for my nonprofit campaign.

I also created a resume using InDesign, check it out: KCoffey Resume.
